The social realities of a people have a lot of bearing on what they are able to accomplish as individuals and collectively. For most people, certain ways of their lives can help achieve successes almost ‘effortlessly’. Similarly, certain ways of their lives can militate against what they are able to achieve.
The Social Research Unit of the Institute is responsible for studying aspects of Northern Nigerian and Nigerian cultures and advising on how they can be leveraged on for more successes or how those that frustrate other efforts can be addressed.
The Unit will work with NGOs and government NDAs in developing solutions to specific challenges as may be required.
